EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY for a driven, big-picture minded candidate with a 4 year business-type degree. Our client, a very LARGE no-frill retail chain is continuing to open new locations. This position offers almost 1 full year of training including in-store exposure of processes/procedures and extensive management training. Prior to or at the end of this training, it is most likely that you will be relocated to an area within NYS and will become a District Manager with responsibility over up to 5 different locations.
In order to be considered for this position, you must HAVE THE WILLINGNESS and DESIRE to take ownership over these locations. This is not an 8-5 job, but does offer work-life balance. As stated, you must have a 4 year college degree, maintained a GPA of at least a 2.75, the willingness to relocate within NYS (Roch, Buff, Alb, North Country or Southern Tier) and have the attitude and commitment to move your career forward.
These stores are YOUR responsibility and how they are run depends on how you manage them. Each District is it’s own profit center and is treated as such.
