Job Description: Responsible for leading the development and implementation of HR strategies and programs for 250 professional employees in seven offices throughout New England. Directs and manages day to day human resources issues and concerns in order to attract, motivate and retain a quality workforce. Key areas of focus include: management consulting and aligning core values; mission, and purpose with activities taking place within each office and group to ensure that business decisions are being made based on company values. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Act as adviser and consultant to all staff on general HR questions with respect to employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, recordkeeping and employee development. - Ensure that HR policies and procedures are communicated, adhered to and understood by all employees. Identify and recommend policy enhancement and changes as needed. Ensure legal and ethical compliance with state and federal laws. Able to design and deliver compliance trainings. - Facilitate, develop and deliver training programs as needed to support growth, retention and attainment of personnel and operational goals. - Ensure consistent decision making in employee relations and disciplinary actions. - Work closely with Business Center leadership and HR corporate team to develop strategic HR solutions to enable and drive business objectives. - Partner with the recruiting team to ensure that the recruiting strategies and processes are well understood and used effectively by hiring managers. - Oversee the implementation of programs, tools, and processes designed to improve management and employee performance, productivity, engagement and business results, - Ensure organization changes are implemented in a timely manner. - Serve as effective liaison between organizational teams and offices. - Draft project plans and proposals for HR and organizational initiatives. - Able to project manage cross-organizational initiatives - 30% travel throughout New England.
Job Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree Required - 7+ years HR Generalist Experience - Project and Program management and development skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and interface with employee at all levels within the -organization. - Broad knowledge of HR laws, practices and policies - Excellent writing skills: experience writing and presenting proposals to management. (Writing and project samples will be asked for in the interviewing process.) - Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. - Ability to serve as a positive change agent and provide influence at all levels of the organization. - Willing to work in a team environment. - Skilled at coaching, teaching and training both management and employees.
