Oversees and directs all general ledger accounting activities including maintenance of the accounts and monthly reconciliations. Ensures items are correctly classified and all reporting is prepared in accordance with GAAP.4.10% - Maintains adequate control procedures over all accounting and financial activities. Provides guidance to ensure that needed internal accounting controls are in place to protect company assets. Ensures SOX compliance and updates documentation as required.5.10% - Leads all SAP financial activities, and works closely with WHQ to coordinate/ensure plant goals compliment all Corporate activities.6.5% - Actively manages career development of direct reports, reviews performance, provides coaching, counseling, and mentoring as required to increase performance. Champions the realization of the leadership model and actively recruits individuals that will live the model and impact the talent level of the organization.7.5% - Ensures that plant goals and initiatives are developed in line with CUSA's values, strategic goals, and business plans.Job Complexity Educates operations management in financial matters to build management team effectiveness.Performs complex problem solving and communicates financial analysis in a clear and simple manner.Establishes aggressive but realistic financial goals that are consistent with CUSA and Corporate objectives.Develops TDC analytics, reporting, and cost reduction initiatives.Leads the successful implementation of SAP reportingPerforms effective presentations.
