Interview client personnel and gain understanding of business process risks and controls.- Prepare process documentation including narratives and flowcharts.- Research industry and business process risks and internal control best practices.- Perform tests of internal controls.- Perform risk assessment and develop internal audit plan.- Perform walkthroughs and document and test internal controls relating to Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404.- Possess computer skills including data manipulation / interrogation software (ACL).- Review staff assignments and make certain they are appropriate.- Supervise and train associates, senior associates, and supervisors.- Contribute to a positive work environment.- Contribute to Firm growth through active involvement in civic and business organizations.
