Oversee staff of 3 providing support to management to ensure timely deliverables & implementation of strategic controls/ reporting plan. Reponsible for reviewing sub-ordinate reporting packages, including analytic presentations due monthly. Ensure timely completion of required GAAP function including preparation of Journal entries & account reconciliations Provide GAAP close support Provide Support to STAT Reporting during quarterly filing process Face out to the segments and take part in projects to bring in new products or business to the insurance company licenses as well as to address concerns and inquiries pertaining to the regulated insurance entities including, but not limited to working with the UHG Cross Segment Compliance Team to review and maintain the ongoing coordination of intersegment contracts pertaining to the insurance entities.
