Job Description:
Our client is a general-construction, construction-management and designing/building firm with offices in Dallas, Houston and Austin. The company was established in 1995.

Job Responsibilities:
1) Plan activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities and systems
2) Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling as well as implementation
3) Review bid documents to identify special requirements
4) Assist with mitigation of risks
5) Participate in pre-bid meetings
6) Establish bid strategies
7) Prepare take-offs, schedules and price estimates
8) Make preliminary schedules and general requirements for reviewing
9) Prepare cost proposals and budgets

Job Requirements:
1) BS in Civil/Structural Engineering preferred
2) Minimum 5 years of concrete specialty experience
3) Experience in working in a large company (estimating 20-storied towers, university buildings and hospitals)
4) Expertise in Timberline Estimating, MC 2 and Digitizer Dirtworks
5) Experience as a Field Superintendent or engineering expertise in project management
6) Ability to take on a project and handle it without much supervision
7) Keen attention to detail
