Job Description:
Our client specializes in designing and evaluating building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing as well as fire protection engineering systems. Their engineers have expertise in upgrading and retrofitting these systems. The company has worked on projects like universities, restaurants and kitchens, hotels, high-end residences, multi-family housing, healthcare, etc. They are the right choice for new construction and renovation projects.
Job Responsibilities:
1) Define project scope with the client and write the final scope
2) Ensure technical accuracy of the firm’s deliverables
3) Define a realistic schedule, measurable deliverables along with additional services
4) Oversee the quality of the firm’s technical discipline resources
5) Assign qualified staff to a project
6) Obtain and transfer client data, backgrounds etc., to the Design Team
7) Delegate/complete project tasks
8) Coordinate multi-discipline projects to achieve balanced work
9) Identify the need for coordination meetings and hold/attend them
10) Participate in client and in-house meetings to ensure client’s needs are met
11) Ensure that Lead Discipline Engineer(s) perform technical reviews
12) Review task deliverables prior to issuing
Job Requirements:
1) Degree (4 year)
2) 10 years of preventive maintenance experience (electrical preferred)
3) PE license
