As an Intermediate Software Developer, you will work at our corporate headquarters in Brockville, Ontario, and be responsible for:
• Knowing our software products inside and out
• Working independently on customer-driven functionality
• Interfacing with our customers as needed to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded
• Documenting and communicating solutions to customer requests
• Collaborating with other Pricedex developers to continuously improve quality and drive competitive advantage in our product portfolio.
Job Requirements:
Preference will be given to candidates with a combination of the following skills and experience:
• 2+ years of experience programming applications with VB6, ASP and COM
• Knowledge of related web technologies such as HTML, XML, XSLT, CSS, Ajax, JavaScript and VBScript
• SQL, MS SQL Server experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with our customers
• Knowledge of programming in VB.Net, C, C++ and C# are desirable assets
• Ability to travel occasionally
