Job Description:
Mold Finisher
Identify manufacturing defects on cores and patch or trim cores to repair defects. Use air gun with diamond tool to trim flash, trim die line and cut tie bars on all cores.
Must follow Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for finishing and be able to Stamp Identification on cores
100% visual inspection before working on cores is required
Identify negatives on all cores and patch according to procedure
Identify cracks and voids on all cores and patch according to procedure
Run impregnation when needed
Maintain accurate records/documentation and enter information into the computer
Requirements
Clean background: no felony convictions

Criminal Background checks, vision and drug screenings are required as part of the application/interview process

Must be self-directed to accomplish goals
Must have good interpersonal skills for dealing with customers and internal employees
Ability and willingness to work overtime if needed to meet schedules
Teamwork a must with a willingness to assist peers to accomplish tasks
Mandatory Overtime 55-60 hours per week
Voluntary OT 7th day paid at double time
