Job Description:
Develop audit reports including audit findings, recommendations and management action plans for review at all management levels. Proactively assess risks and provide input and support to the director in managing the planning and execution of audit deliverables. Provide expert compliance knowledge to assist gap analysis and identify compliance risks, develop action plans, report progress, and ensure closure. Manage audit projects within prescribed time budgets at a high degree of quality. Manage, coach, and develop employees. Review and evaluate employee performance for each audit project and provide input for annual employee reviews. Qualifications Requirements for this position include the following: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of seven years auditing experience. A minimum of three years direct people management experience. Proven expertise in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Handson experience with Sarbanes Oxley and the PCAOB auditing standards. Ability to assess and determine risk impacts. Proficiency in establishing and applying effective audit principles, theories and methodologies to financial, operational, governance and compliance auditing projects.
