Responsibilities Job Responsibilities: Prepare and review operating plan and budgets as well financial reporting, forecasting, and pacing Prepare and review the TLMD Studios operating plans and budgets as well financial reporting, forecasting, and pacing Partner closely with Production and Programming to assist in managing both daytoday operational matters, in addition to providing guidance and input on strategic business opportunities Ensure application and compliance with all pertinent GAAP, SOP, and any other authoritative accounting literature Review balance sheet reconciliations Maintain SOX Compliance; document and map processes, evaluate controls, provide recommendations, etc Production budgets; prepare comparatives, review for reasonableness, validate all assumptions Consolidate and regularly present (written & oral) data and operating/financial recommendations in impactful way to senior management Proactively identify potential costoverruns and operating constraints; offer timely solutions to mitigate Identify cost savings opportunities within the productions Review present production model and analyze opportunities Provide management with weekly production results, projections and estimates to complete Manage multiple priorities and responds to urgent senior management requests with confidence and vigor Responsible for information systems management (i.e., Vista System, PeopleSoft, SAP, Movie Magic, Projects, etc.); evaluate systems and procedures for improvements Ensure timeliness and accuracy of all Finance Dept. activities Coordinate closely with HR & Legal in all aspects Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline Minimum of 5 years finance experience Eligibility Requirements: Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered (note job#: 829128) Language skills: English and Spanish fluency (speaking, reading, writing) Must be willing to work in Hialeah, FL Must be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigation Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in United States Desired Previous media/entertainmentrelated production finance experience; Strong knowledge of SOP002; FAS 63; ultimates accounting and reporting; Experience analyzing & structuring coproduction agreements and related accounting Minimum 3 years auditing experience in either public accounting firm or television/film industry CPA or equivalent Processoriented, handson style.
