Job Description:

Perform research and analysis related to ongoing tax issues, law changes and special projects as needed. Work on cross-functional projects to provide tax consulting in connection with tax matters affecting various business units within Apple.Provide support for process improvements including technology adoption to improve efficiencies and manage risks.Participate in Domestic Tax Planning associated with the increased growth and complexity of the company.Assist with the federal tax audit as needed.This position reports to the Director of Tax Accounting and Audits.BA/BS in accountingCPA/MS Tax highly desirable5 plus years of broad experience in large-company corporate tax issues including substantial exposure to accounting for income taxes (FAS 109) in a national accounting firm or in a corporate tax department. Candidate must be able to think strategically and have the ability to proactively identify, communicate, research, and resolve tax issues. Strong writing skills required as well as strong oral communication skills.
