Job Requirements: RECEPTIONIST
Thriving Optometric Practice with Therapeutic Optometrist and high-end OPTICAL seeking a Full-Time RECEPTIONIST. Excellent Communication skills (Both Verbal and Written)a must. Must also be Computer savvy. Office utilizing EMR (Electronic Medical Records). Medical and/or Vision Insurance knowledge beneficial. Must be able to verify Medical Health Insurance Benefits AND Vision Plan Benefits. All patient appointments, scheduling, messages, prescription refills...etc. are entered into Computer through EPM (Electronic Practice Management). Office utilizing NEXTGEN Software. Optical includes Designer Frames by Tag Heuer, Fendi, Michael Kors, Coach, Gucci, Christian Dior, Gianfranco Ferre, Missoni, Giorgio Armani and Oakley. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within an Optometric practice. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish sales goals. Multi-tasking required. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Willing to train the right person.
