Job Description:
A company providing results-oriented survey instruments, training and development programs, and actionable management consulting seeks a Senior Human Resource Generalist with 7+ years of HR experience. The candidate serves as an active business partner providing strategic partnering and tactical execution focused on enhancing organizational performance, developing a competent and engaged workforce and building scalable organizational capabilities that directly impact business results. Develop a thorough understanding of key client business objectives and practices, in order to provide effective coaching and consultation to managers, team leaders and employees on individual and organizational issues. Partners with other HR functions to implement key company-wide programs such as salary review, performance management, benefits enrollment, and engagement survey action planning, as well as ongoing practices in the areas of recruiting, total rewards, communication and training and development. Partners with management (professional and operations) to identify, investigate, analyze and resolve employee relations issues using a systematic and solution-oriented approach. Diagnoses trends and proactively makes improvements to minimize future ER issues. Support operations team as lead HR representative in coordination with HR Manager role. Supports recruiting to facilitate the hiring process of internal and external candidates. Teams with HR representatives to ensure consistent application and development of company policy, procedures and applicable employment laws. Conducts formal and informal interviews and uses data to diagnose trends and organizational issues. Develops and communicates recommendations for improving business performance, organizational culture, and employee engagement and retention. The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree. PHR/SPHR certification preferred. Should have working knowledge of federal and CA employment law and EEO regulations. Requires working knowledge of conducting investigations. Process development/redesign/improvement experience and project management skills are essential. Experience with leave of absence administration, benefits administration and HRIS systems is required.
