Job Description:
 A management consulting firm seeks a Business Analyst (BA) with 1-3 years of relevant work experience in the fields of finance, health care, government, or consulting field. The candidate works as part of a consulting team with consultants and senior staff. BAs are assigned short-term and long-term tasks on a multitude of projects. Specific responsibilities include: Prepare parts of written status reports to clients (in PowerPoint); present parts of status reports in meetings; complete financial processes (in Access and Excel) for various clients (includes cost allocation plans, cost reports, and setting rates for services); conduct policy and other research; participate on proposal writing teams, including writing sections, coordinating efforts, and preparing proposal submissions; assist with preparation of other written reports and materials for clients; assist with preparation of materials for training seminars; assist in administration of time studies and operation of help desk lines. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree. Should have public speaking experience. Existing knowledge or experience with state government, health insurance payment systems (particularly Medicaid and Medicare), public sector consulting, and/or cost accounting is highly advantageous. Some overtime and travel are required.
