Job Description:

One of the first investment companies seeks a Business Systems Analyst with 4+ years' experience performing systems support and analysis or experience in the financial services supporting buy side technology or end user of investment systems. The candidate will develop financial systems technology projects that address the business needs for various investment departments as well as front middle and back office departments that support the investment process. The candidate follows the system-development life cycle, and conducts projects that adhere to the life cycle. Gathers and documents business requirements. Works to understand client's business requirements. Converts requirements into functional specifications. Works with department members to determine timetable for user requests. Acts as a liaison between the client and the development staff to ensure proper implementation of requirements within the expected timetable. Also communicates any material modifications of the business requirements to the client. Writes test plans and utilizes these documents to test applications. Creates and runs functional as well as regressions test suites. Works with automated testing team when needed for performance/load testing as well as automated regressions testing. Works to ensure a positive end product for clients by overseeing the implementation of new software. Creates and maintains proper training materials and business documentation. Provides application and production support to internal clients. Mentors more junior team members. The candidate should have Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a business or computer related field.
