A leading search engine on the Web seeks a Business Development Director with 5+ years’ experience in business development at a leading Internet company. The candidate will help grow businesses by establishing strategic partnerships that extend across various products and technologies, such as toolbar and software products. Lead in all aspects of deal development – prospecting, sourcing, negotiating and closing. Contribute to product and strategy development efforts. Develop new toolbar and technology partners and maintain existing partner portfolio. The candidate should have Undergraduate degree. M.B.A./J.D. preferred. The candidate should have experience in all phases of the partnership cycle and good understanding of contracts, particularly licensing and bundling arrangements. Experience with and understanding of the Internet media business and associated business models. Strong understanding of search engine technology and other Internet technologies. High end sales experience helpful. Entrepreneurial experience helpful.
