Job Description:

A Fortune 500 company seeks a Technical Project Manager with 5+ years of IT project management experience related to development or integration of large software applications, including 2 years’ experience leading technology projects through the full project cycle. The candidate will work in the IT department. The position is accountable for overall project success, and will ensure the delivered products meet expectations of all stakeholders. As such, the position will participate in software development and integration projects from conceptualization through implementation, including analysis, requirements definition, vendor evaluation, technical design, execution and post-production capture of service level agreements. The essential functions will include: Manage key strategic relationships with all project stakeholders and senior management; ensure project adherence to enterprise project management methodology and other methodologies employed in shared services, staying informed of methodology changes, and communicating such changes to project stakeholders; Assist overall project manager with managing project deliverables; Act as the technical integration point with internal parties and 3rd party vendors; Participate in project definition and cost analysis; Facilitate review and approval through each project check-point; Engage IT subject matter experts, as necessary; Ensure production readiness of final product and ensure effective transition to support. Capable of quickly identifying tactical and strategic options along with associated benefits and risks. Familiarity with one or more of the traditional HRIS functions (HRMS/Payroll, recruiting, learning administration, benefits administration, compensation, incentive management, performance management, time tracking) desirable. Familiarity with corporate relations, legal, and corporate information security desirable. Familiarity with distributed applications and environments desirable. Bachelor's Degree required. Project Management training required. PMP Certification desirable.
