Job Description:

A global leader in fire safety and security staff seeks an Accountant with 3-5 years of analytical accounting experience. The candidate will accurately calculate, thoroughly analyze and clearly communicate financial business information to the senior level management for the purpose of internal and external financial reporting and analysis. Candidate will be engaged in the classification, maintenance, and reconciliation of accounting information for the purpose of internal reporting and performance measurement, by performing the following duties: Classifying expenditures, reconciling general ledger accounts, and preparing general ledger entries; analyze data and report variances to senior management; managing close process for assigned accounts and completing all required close tasks within allowed time frame. Ensure integrity of the reporting system by accurately inputting data. Input/Submit monthly data into Hyperion. Conduct cost/benefit analysis for various projects as required. Assists with Sarbanes Oxley testing. Maintains a proactive stance in regard to the financial welfare of the company. The candidate should have Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
