Job Description:
 An engineering and manufacturing corporation seeks a Senior Programmer/Analyst with 1-4 years of experience in an Information Technology related field (entry-level candidate with applicable BS degree). The candidate supports a variety of software systems in a developmental capacity in a team environment. Works directly with the subject matter experts to define software requirements and derive requirement specifications, including appropriate and necessary integration and interface to other systems. Designs software solutions and enhancements either independently or as part of a team. Duties include requirements analysis, system design, coding, testing and troubleshooting. Develops technical specifications required for system development; application flows, data requirements and processing logic. Responsible for programming of applications. Develops and maintains implementation plans, schedules and action registers for individual assignments. Assists in scheduling time for program testing and obtaining user acceptance. Researches, evaluates and makes recommendations regarding technology pertinent to department and business goals. Prepares and delivers presentations to a variety of audiences on a variety of software topics. B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is required. Six Sigma certification and experience is preferred. Experience in web-based application programming and technical support for enterprise wide systems preferred. Experience using Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook. Experience with at least two of the following: Java, .net, C#, SQL database. Advanced knowledge of computer technology and data processing systems is required.
