Job Description: The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for the administration of broad spectrum generalist duties, including employee relations counseling and investigations, employment-related compliance, benefits, compensation, and performance management. Responsibilities will include: • Guidance - Assists line management with multiple personnel related activities; provides information, advice and counsel to employees on various personnel related issues. Equips the line to deal with employee relations issues through training, advice and support. • Employees - Handles all aspects of new employee orientation and exiting interviews with employees. Provide counsel to employees on employee relations issues, including advising on performance management issues and conducting terminations. Investigate employee workplace situations or complaints, including claims of harassment, discrimination and policy violations. • Administration - Oversees maintenance of human resource filing and administration (both paper and electronic). • Compensation - Coordinates salary adjustments processing with Payroll function, administrates performance review and merit review procedures. • Benefits - Conducts benefits enrollment and administration. Responds to general employee inquiries relating to local benefit programs. • Training and Development - Advise and support line managers in identification of team and individual development needs, planning development activities and evaluating development progress. Ensure line management is aware of development resources and programs available and advise on appropriate use. • Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures. • Assist with special projects as needed. • Provide back up support to Human Resources team members as required.

Required Experience • A minimum of 3-6 year experience in an Human Resources/administrative support role. • Proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel (and SAP a plus). • A four-year degree from a college or university in Human Resources or a related field preferred. • Experience in a multi-site organization a plus.
