At the Allstate Credit Division (VSC Claims Department) our commitment is to support, collaborate with and provide our Customers and Dealers with World Class Service through our administration of mechanical claims. The Candidate we are searching for should possess proven effective leadership and the business acumen for the automotive industry, as well as the call center environment. As Claims Manager, you will direct the tactical actions of a fast paced, high volume call center. If this fits your strengths and skills and your expertise is evident in these areas, we want to hear from you! v Strategic Requirements: To identify, develop and champion new strategies and initiatives to enhance and grow the claims operation. Use your mechanical expertise and industry knowledge to execute changes as you plan, direct and manage work flow of direct reports. Participate with cross- functional teams to support projects of complexity that will enhance the claims operations. Develop a leadership team that includes supervisors and team leaders for on-going success and improvement of skills. Manage & Support cost containment to attain company objectives and goals. v Operational Requirements Develops and Fosters excellent relationships with our Customers, Dealers, Agents. Collaborate with managers and internal business partners regarding the profitability of dealer accounts ( i.e. Underwriting, Sales & Marketing, Actuarial, Risk Management and Product Development).
