Job Description:
POSITION PURPOSE:
To exceed guest expectations by being enthusiastic, helpful, professional, and friendly and to create a welcoming atmosphere for our owners, members, and guests. Make a positive impact by providing spectacular service.
Essential Functions:
Ensure that every interaction is positive and memorable
Checks owners/guests in and out and responds to inquiries regarding resort services.
Enters/inputs check-in and check-out information in computerized reservation system to update and maintain records. Calls for service, as required, to assist owners/guests.
Accesses reservation system to determine unit availability and makes advance reservations or changes as required
Issues and controls unit keys.
Handles difficult situations with professionalism and integrity.
Handles telephone communications taking and delivering messages to owners/guests and resort staff.
Reviews expected check-in lists, noting comments regarding special requests, etc.
Receives housekeeping and maintenance requests/work orders and contacts the proper personnel to carry out the request.
Reports any unresolved problems with owners/guests to management.
Maintains clean front desk area and any other related areas.
Receives inquiries on area attractions and resort amenities, and provides directions and referrals.
Performs point of sale function as needed.
Job Requirements:
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
High school diploma.
Outstanding guest service skills with a friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful demeanor.
Bilingual skills strongly preferred.
Prior hospitality or related industry experience.
Must possess basic computer/data entry skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must be available to work weekends and evenings.
