Oversees the development of incoming inspection criteria for purchased goods by the Supplier Development team * Facilitates the timely disposition of non-conforming goods, supplier response and customer disposition * Accomplishes the creation of first article inspection criteria through the Supplier Development team * Helps maintain process instructions, forms and all other Supplier Development related documentation * Helps manage component end of life for impact avoidance * Provides work direction and system development that results in attainment of strategic departmental and business goals * Leads or directs continuous improvement activities * Manages development of Bills of Material/Approved Vendor List substitutions to effect cost/price savings and customer satisfaction Skills Required: * Will be able to demonstrate superior understanding of quality processes * Will demonstrate exceptional mentoring, dynamic leadership, outstanding organizational and presentation abilities * Will be able to demonstrate effective communication, both written and verbal * Will demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment * Will demonstrate ability to recommend and implement processes to improve the effectiveness of the SD group * Will demonstrate regular, consistent attendance *
