Job Description:
Exciting opportunity for a self-starter and seasoned sales professional who thrives to be in an independent sales role, embraces cold calling and drives the sales process to successful closure. This person will be assigned his or her own territory and is responsible to meet and obtain new business to build the engineering services business in the Power Utilities market segment domestically. Projects will have a broad range of services; Engineering, Design, Procurement, Construction Management & Plant Start-up and Consulting. The Utilities segments rely heavily on teaming partners with construction capabilities beyond CM and/or with OEMs or large EPC providers. The Power Consulting services include; owners engineer, lenders engineer, feasibility studies, IGCC, AQCS. The Industrial services include behind the fence smaller projects; boilers, chillers.Our current business is 80% domestic and 20% International.Job Requirements: Must have at least 8 to 10 years of successful sales experience. (Must have sold directly into the Utilities market in the Midwest or Southwest.) The ideal candidate will have experience and key contacts in the following areas; Midwest Utilities Coal plant utility upgrade experience Gas turbine technology experience Contractor and OEM teaming Candidate should be located in the Midwest, Southwest, or Southeast. Outstanding communication and selling skills required. Must be willing to travel 50% of the time.Education:Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. MBA is preferred.Benefits: Generous base compensation and bonus structure.
