This is a unique position for an individual with very diverse skills. The successful candidate will be part of a newly-formed incubator organization called SAVi (Strategic & Venture initiatives) within 1-800-FLOWERs.COM. SAVi includes MBA students from top-tier business schools. Responsibilities Lead the charge in developing new e-commerce businesses Each individual will serve as the Founder & General Manager of 2-3 new business ventures. It is expected that the successful candidate will eventually run an e-commerce business with a $20-$30 million P&L. Qualifications Candidates should ideally have past experience working within industry (ideally retail and/or e-commerce), but have the analytical and strategic skills of a consultant. They must be able to work within the pragmatic environment of an organization that mandates the unquestioned achievement of its ROIC, Gross Margin and EBITDA targets. Candidates should be effective PR agents, marketers, financial analysts and strategists, with the personality, desire and passion to build a new business from the ground up MBA from a top-tier business school
