This position ensures that the forestland investments achieve strategic return and risk objectives. The Investment Officer III also recommends new and innovative forestland investment strategies to improve returns and better manage risk. This position serves as the subject matter expert in the forestland sector and, as such, provides consultative advice and recommendations to Portfolio Managers, Senior Portfolio Managers, Senior Investment Officers, the Chief Investment Officer, and the CalPERS Board members.
