Responsibilities: Manage vendor projects and relationships. Communicate effectively with on- and off-shore vendors in a timely fashion and evaluate vendor performance.Assist in defining and scheduling pieces of each assigned project. Collaborate with inter-department team members to drive projects through to completion. Follow standards for communication between internal/internal, internal/external, and external/external parties and make sure all have the appropriate information. Communicate potential risks and issues, and escalate these items to management when appropriateAssist in revising workflow processes as needs ariseManage sub-project budgets and schedules to fit within overall budgets and scheduleSupport Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support by providing product knowledge expertise in order for them to better support their customersParticipate in project management processes that promote agile development. Requires working closely with editorial and technology group to create a common understanding of process, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and problem resolution Negotiate design compromises with invested parties of varied perspectives while defining a cohesive product.
