Job Description:
Responsible for managing all aspects of a diverse, highly complex IT initiative with multiple IT projects under minimal direction, including project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality and cost. Serves as a single point of contact for assigned program and projects and takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to define program scope and objectives, develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts program and project meetings and is responsible for program tracking and analysis. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables (if applicable). Provides technical and analytical guidance to project managers. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Ensures adherence to quality standards, reviews project deliverables, and resolves issues to ensure program goals and requirements are met on time and within budget. Communicates with ISD management and end-users to provide timely and accurate information and status updates. May provide guidance to lower level project managers and contributes to the development of professional project management skills. Projects involve multiple disciplines in the IT function.Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent and over five years of related experience. Master's degree and/or PMI certification is preferred.
