Job Description:
The Director of Engineering assures that all building and grounds are maintained to the highest possible standards. Directs all repairs and maintenance of the physical structure of the hotel. Directly responsible for the repair and maintenance of; hotel physical structure, all operational equipment, appearance and maintenance of public space and guestrooms, HVAC, project management, grounds and pools. Directly manage all contracted maintenance companies to ensure superior service and guest experience. Ensure that all work is completed in a safe, efficient and professional manner, as assigned by the General Manager. Experience: -Must have Minimum of eight (8) years in the Maintenance trade field, including three (3) years of management experience. Hospitality field required.-Must be in compliance with state and local laws and hotel policies pertaining to required licenses and certifications including but not limited to: county and state certifications. NC CPO certification, EPA Universal Certified.
