Innovative Technical Solutions, Inc. (ITSI) is a national Engineering, Construction & Consulting firm based in Walnut Creek, California, (http://www.itsi.com/ ) focusing on providing design-build infrastructure and environmental solutions for our clients. ITSI's clients include all branches of the Department of Defense in addition to municipal and commercial clients. We are seeking a Construction Estimator for our corporate headquarters in Walnut Creek, CA. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast paced, busy environment and likes a challenge. Responsibilities will include: Development of detailed cost proposals associated with construction projects. Reviews proposal specifications, drawings, attends pre-bid meeting, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate. Manages the development of estimates from inception to completion. Responsible for conceptual estimating, cost analysis and estimating planning, coordination and consolidation. Follows awarded contracts as assigned. May include estimating extra work items, change orders, etc. Qualifications and Education: 5+ years project estimating working on similar type projects. Experience and proficiency (intermediate to expert level) in the use of PC with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Project, Access, PowerPoint, etc.) Experience with WinEst a plus Knowledge of Project Management industry standards and best practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills Construction experience a plus To apply for this position, please visit our website at http://www.itsi.com/careers.php A comprehensive benefits package is available.
