Job Description:

Maintain correspondence with Owners and subcontractors as necessary to accurately document project events. • Shop Drawing Submittals – obtain from suppliers/subs, verify conformance with Contract Documents, and coordinate with Admin Assistant (AA) Letter of Transmittal and submittal log maintenance in Excel. • Shop Drawing Submittal follow-up – review, monitor and process the timely turn around of all submittals. When submittals are received, assign number and submit to Owner or Engineer. Once received form Engineer or Owner, distribute copies as directed. Notify Engineer or Owner of submittal delays. Resolve all technical issues in writing with Engineer, Owner, sub or supplier prior to release to production. • Prepare project specific Health & Safety Plan distribute to Engineer & PS. • Subcontract – Confirm and negotiate subcontractor’s proposal and prepare subcontract agreements using AIA documents for review and endorsement by PM. Confirm subcontract distribution, endorsement, insurance and business license. All must been received by Admin Dept. prior to any work. • Prepare purchase orders – Confirm quotations, negotiate and prepare purchase orders with distribution by AA. Order items and follow up on production and delivery schedule. Track purchase orders in PO log and coordinate delivery with PS.
