Job Description:
Responsibilities: Entry-level position in engineering/construction field. Performs construction materials testing in the field and laboratory in accordance with American Society of Testing and Materials or other applicable procedures. Perform testing of soil, aggregate, concrete, bituminous, and masonry construction materials. We provide training in-house prior to field assignment. About 80 - 90 percent of the time is spent on-site in the field providing quality control sampling, monitoring, and/or inspection of construction materials. The other 10 - 20 percent of the time is spent in the laboratory conducting the standardized tests to determine whether the materials meet specification. Qualifications: Any of the following education and or certifications is preferred but not required. High School Diploma, Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree, Asbestos Project Monitor, NDT Level I/II (Mag Particle, Liquid Penetrant, Ultrasonic), CAWI/CWI, ICC, NETTCP, 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety, Troxler, ACI Level I/II, PCI Level I/II, NICET Level I/II/III, and bituminous field experience.
