New York, NY 10017 Location: Southe astern United States Overview: O ur client is a global leader and an owner/developer in the hospitality, resort and residential sectors. They currently have projects in the continental United States, Hawaii, Caribbean and Mexico. They enjoy a reputation for the integrity of their brand as well as their product offerings and have been recognized by the industry as leaders in the field. The Senior Vice President for Design and Construction will play a highly visible role in managing the roll out of an integrated regional model to maximize the performance of a $1B pipeline of projects. He/she will manage a series of regional offices and have full management responsibility for the hiring, training and managing of the design and construction team and their performance in meeting corporate goals. Duties and Requirements: A minimum of fifteen years of experience on the construction and architecture side of the resort / residential/destination / mixed use business, with the last five years in a senior level corporate general management role Must have experience managing large, multiple, complex design and construction projects from a corporate perspective, specifically the design and building elements of the development cycle Demonstrated track record for leadership, both at the operational level as well as the senior management table at the headquarters Must be a strong team player with leadership skills that attract the best and brightest Strong business and financial skills as well as technical acumen B.S. Degree in Architecture, Construction or Engineering; MBA a definite plus Very competitive compensation and relocation packages.
