Vice President - Business Development The successful candidate will play a vital role at OpenX, with responsibility for growing and enhancing the monetization of its large and passionate community of US publishers. Key responsibilities: Develop and execute a plan to let the OpenX US publisher base make more money from online advertising, both directly and through partners Develop and execute a plan to scale rapidly the OpenX US publisher base, both directly and through partners Close deals with publishers and partners that move the needle, and develop an effective key account management approach Work closely and effectively with the broader OpenX team around the world to deliver market-leading solutions to publishers and partners. Skills: Strong track record of successful business development at the senior management level of the US online advertising and publisher markets An energetic self starter, with an entrepreneurial approach to identifying opportunities, building plans and closing deals fast Ability to fit in well in an informal start-up environment requiring hands-on management and rapid changes Ability to develop and monitor multiple project schedules and timelines, and to identify risks and mitigants. Ability to assess broader and deeper impact of decisions, encouraging cross-functional brainstorming and project teaming. Great communication skills, internally and externally. Effective team leadership and line management of fast growing teams Passion for OpenX and its publisher community International experience and outlook, with an understanding of how to operate and succeed in a fast-moving, multicultural team. Language requirements: English-very good
