Job Description:

The additional department (Health Administration) resides in the School of Allied Health Professions. This position will facilitate the transfer of resources from the School of Medicine and the School of Allied Health Professions in accordance with approved financial and operational plans. This position will be responsible for financial, administrative, operational and grants management of the School and its departments and will work closely with each department chair to successfully administer its respective fiscal and human resources. The incumbent will manage the school\'s annual budget, providing forecasts, projections and strategic analysis of trends. Prior to the appointment of the Dean of Public Health, the Director of Finance and Administration will report directly to the Assistant Vice President for Health Sciences - Financial and Administrative Affairs. Upon the appointment of the Dean, the position will then report directly to the Dean or the Dean\'s designee. This position will supervise a team of financial and administrative personnel.
