Account Manager Our client is a very well known online publisher providing outstanding content and information to millions of users each month. This is an outstanding opportunity to work at a brand name company and work with exciting clients and advertising programs. We are in search of an Advertising Sales Account Manager in the New York office or Boston office. This individual will play a critical role in developing and managing successful advertising programs for key clients. Responsibilities: Proactively assist the East Coast sales team in managing existing business and pursuing new business opportunities. Represent TheStreet.com with a high level of integrity and knowledge and act as a resource for all East Coast clients and agencies. Manage & monitor current campaigns by coordinating with internal operations and client & agency contacts. Maintain constant awareness of East Coast advertiser activity in order to identify new business opportunities. Collaborate with the national sales team to share information and resources. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of available advertising programs, site information and resources. Assist with the development of proposals, internal and client reporting and all sales related materials. Qualifications: · Two or more years of interactive sales or interactive agency media related work experience. Strong understanding of our business, online marketing and the East Coast advertising community. Ability to deliver accurate, professional work under tight deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Some evening events and travel required. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
