Advertising Director Location: CA - Escondido Job Type: Sales and Marketing Division: North County Times Status: Regular Description: Advertising Director The North County Times a 90,000 circulation morning daily covering San Diego County and Southwest Riverside County is seeking an Advertising Director. Reporting to the Publisher, the Advertising Director will be responsible for leading and managing the retail, classified, and majors/national sales departments. Our ideal candidate will have a B.A. degree in marketing or advertising and extensive newspaper experience in developing, implementing and executing successful sales strategies. We seek candidates who have had proven media sales and sales management successes in competitive newspaper markets, and who possess the creativity, experience, and ability to develop, motivate, and train sales people. Experience in developing strategic and operating plans preferred. Candidates must be open and able to operate in a non-structured, fast-moving culture.
