Job Description:
The Abilene Reporter-News seeks an innovative and experienced Classified Manager who will be responsible for leading and implementing advertising initiatives in the Classified Department that will continue to grow revenues and provide value to its customers. Proven success in a call center environment is a must. This position must be able to identify opportunities and develop sales strategies for increased advertising programs to address needs of small, mid-sized to large advertisers. It is imperative that this person can motivate, train, recruit, and develop a strong sales staff in order to enhance performance. In addition to a strong sales background, the ideal candidate must be able to lead others, resolve situations, give sales presentations and meet established sales goals with a focus online.
