The Information Risk Manager initiates, manages, and completes specific projects that support cultural transformation and strategic objectives of the Risk Management organization. Responsibilities include:Manage relationships between the Information Risk Management organization and the businesses, Identify and understand risks undertaken by the businesses pertaining to safeguarding, privacy, and access management Make informed decisions about risk-return relationships. This position will specifically; Manage PNCs HIPA A privacy program through: - Activities that ensures PNCs compliance to the HIPA A privacy and security rules - Maintenance of the HIPA A compliance documentation - Perform an annual detailed review of PNCs compliance to the HIPA A privacy and security rules - Prepare and distribute annual HIPA A awareness training - Work with various Healthcare components within the businesses on HIPA A related topics and initiatives Work with the Information Risk Management team on improving and executing the PNC Safeguarding program through executing the following: - Critically evaluate safeguarding and privacy needs of PNC and recommend program improvements - Work with businesses to develop, analyze, remediate, document, and track remediation initiative. - Actively engage with the Technology Risk Management, Security Services and other TPS areas to track the access management program, issues identified during the Technology Capabilities Assessment process and other infrastructure safeguarding initiatives; and - Complete quarterly monitoring of infrastructure safeguarding programs and controls; - Prepare a score card showing status of safeguarding initiatives. - Maintain necessary program documentation - Track, trend, and report safeguarding events to detect emerging trends Work with the Chief privacy Officer in execution of governance role for Consumer Privacy, Do Not Call, CAN-SPAM, Fact Act, and Fax Act to ensure PNC remains compliant through: - Track new regulations and laws to determine impact on privacy program - Review requests for sharing of information with third parties. Manage the annual privacy disclosure project to ensure all customers receive the disclosure. Represent privacy on the Breach panel. Attend consumer marketing committee meetings to determine if any privacy concerns surface.
