Job Description:
This person will be responsible for directing internal staff on process and procedures, and interface with customers, others within the division, and within Newell Rubbermaid for all Customer Service related topics. The Customer Service department responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries on the phone, fax, and e-mail; processing returns and credit requests; entering customer orders into our order processing system; updating customer, price, and product files; verifying order accuracy and pricing; price discrepancy notifications; and price exception processing and implementation. Performance Roles: Relationship role - developing a superior working relationship with key individuals and groups within Newell Rubbermaid divisions. Partnership building role - Bringing together the systems and resource capabilities of the individual and key personnel to achieve the goals of the organization while reducing overall cost of doing business. Communication role - the position requires superior communication itself as well as the coordination of communication between functions and within functions and any vendors and/or customers. Equally important is the monitoring, follow-up and the establishment of credible feedback loops to ensure that vital processes and communications are working. Cross-functional leadership- Ability to lead and motivate a group of co workers or peers to achieve the common strategic goals of the organization Contribute to the development and subsequent execution (by self and through individuals and groups) of short and long range strategic plans - to include situational analysis, business performance analysis, strategic objectives, tactical plans, critical success factors, as well as budgeting.
