Refer to Job # ZGIL4880 An Internet services company seeks a Business Development Director with 5+ years of business development and/or industry experience. The candidate will be the primary point of contact for content and site-related deals. Will need to maintain high sensitivity to the editorial process and closely collaborate with other properties. Will be responsible for an array of business development activities, including content acquisition, partner management, and monetization. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day relationships with many publishing partners. Identifying and negotiating partnership deals that drive incremental traffic and revenue. Leading outreach for new initiatives and collaborate with product teams to ensure launches. Accomplishing results by effectively partnering with colleagues in product management, marketing, and business operations as well as other internal teams such as sales, publisher network, corporate partnerships, corporate development and other properties. M.B.A. preferred. Should have the ability to understand and work through all aspects of agreements with legal and product teams. Publisher experience preferred. Ability to define business cases for revenue, technology and content-related partnerships is essential.
