A well established and respected leader in the Logistics and Supply Chain industry is seeking a VP Business Development. This individual will report to the CEO and will be responsible for defining product/service strategy and customer value propositions. He/She will call on current and potential customers to identify & develop new sales opportunities. The hired candidate will be expected to establish an account engagement from field to executive level to drive additional revenue & initiatives, additionally they will bring an understanding of key account needs to the internal organization. We are seeking a relationship builder with a collaborative approach! The finalist will possess 10+ years of industrial experience. They must be action oriented with a sense of urgency, a deal maker with the ability to provide strategic vision. Experience managing customer relationships in medium to large organizations, focusing on logistics and supply chain. Experience operating in a matrix environment is a plus.
