Job Description:
• Create, optimize and enforce production schedules for print runs
• Recruit and organize labour to meet production requirements
• Forecast and plan for production materials needed for print runs
• Undertake inventory counts to ensure accurate QOH and produce periodic inventory reports
• Prepare and track all documentation relating to print runs
• Prepare and monitor yearly budget to achieve company’s targets and directives
• Provide customers with regular updates regarding progress and expected delivery dates
• Mitigate and resolve complaints and concerns with exceptional levels of customer service
• Implement and instil the highest standards of quality in manufacturing to increase customer satisfaction and ensure production efficiencies
• Perform duties in accordance with all applicable Health and Safety regulations required by government legislation
• Various sales and administration duties as required


Job Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Production Management, Logistics or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 2 years experience planning and scheduling in manufacturing environment
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Persuasive and effective communicator (spoken and written)
• Possess strong leadership and team-building skills
• Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work under minimal supervision
• Intermediate-level ability with MS Office or OpenOffice.org software, especially Excel
• Experience with ERP systems and production management software is an asset
