Job Description: Create, optimize and enforce production schedules for print runs Recruit and organize labour to meet production requirements Forecast and plan for production materials needed for print runs Undertake inventory counts to ensure accurate QOH and produce periodic inventory reports Prepare and track all documentation relating to print runs Prepare and monitor yearly budget to achieve companys targets and directives Provide customers with regular updates regarding progress and expected delivery dates Mitigate and resolve complaints and concerns with exceptional levels of customer service Implement and instil the highest standards of quality in manufacturing to increase customer satisfaction and ensure production efficiencies Perform duties in accordance with all applicable Health and Safety regulations required by government legislation Various sales and administration duties as required
Job Requirements: Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Production Management, Logistics or related field, or equivalent work experience Minimum of 2 years experience planning and scheduling in manufacturing environment Excellent organizational and time-management skills Persuasive and effective communicator (spoken and written) Possess strong leadership and team-building skills Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work under minimal supervision Intermediate-level ability with MS Office or OpenOffice.org software, especially Excel Experience with ERP systems and production management software is an asset
