Job Description:
An afircan based exploration and production company seeks an aggressive, results oriented Senior Petroleum/Operations Engineer to join this growing and dynamic organization. This is a ground floor opportunity to work with some of the best in the business! My client is interested in discussing this opportunity with top flight individuals bringing experience and the educational foundation to support engineering, drilling and completion activities in the newly discovered oil fields in Ghana. Project management and strategic planning ability and background are a must! While candidates with this specific regional experience as opposed to other areas will be given preference, I urge others to apply as well. Undergraduate and advanced degrees outside of Petroleum Engineering, such as Mechanical or Electrical Engineering will also be considered as long the credentials and employment history of a Petroleum/Operations Engineer in an exploration and production environment are in place. Advanced degrees or equivalent experience in this area are strongly preferred! Additionally, the candidate ultimately selected for this role will have a proven track record of leadership, fantastic communication skills, an analytical mind and be a driven, dedicated and career minded individual.
