Job Description:

Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organizations, scheduling and implementation. This position will plan and coordinate construction projects. • Inspects all field construction work in progress, including work which is subcontracted, and ensures that uniformly high quality of workmanship is maintained during each construction segment. • Investigates alternative work methods and materials which will either improve efficiency and/or the quality of the work performed, • Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, and local laws, ordinances and codes relating to construction activities. • Assumes responsibility for the health and safety of employees to include designation of first-aid areas, emergency treatment facilities • Accompanies OSHA inspectors on jobsite visits, correcting observed safety hazards, etc. • Establishes and maintains a good working relationship with Owners and Owner Representatives, Architects, Consulting firms, and other parties with financial interest in the project. • Fosters and promotes the training and development of subordinates through various on-the-job training opportunities, company-sponsored training programs, and outside learning opportunities such as college courses, trade seminars and classroom instructions, etc.
