Job Description:
Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director of Project Implementation, the successful candidate will be in charge of the team responsible for the implementation of the Coolidge Generating Station. The position encompasses all aspects of Project implementation from the preliminary engineering stage through final commissioning of the power plant, including, but not limited to the following: Responsible for planning and organizing the work required to ensure the Project is built within the time and budget specified. Responsible for obtaining any outstanding permits. Responsible for the interactions with the customer, local citizens groups and local jurisdictions. Interface with Commercial Development, Legal and other groups involved in the marketing process to be sure all TransCanada commitments are identified and met. Represent company in negotiations with clients, partners, suppliers, vendors, consultants and contractors as necessary.
