Job Description:
Continual improvement of the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting their budgets* Developing credibility for the finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist the CEO and President in performing their responsibilities* Enhancement and/or development, implementation and enforcement of policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation* Providing technical financial advice to others within the financial discipline* Participation in the continual improvement of the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting their budgets* Providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization; expansion of venue relationships* Optimization of the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position* Advisement, from the financial perspective, on any contracts into which the corporation may enter* Evaluation the financial division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group and provide individuals with professional and personal growth* Working with senior management team to support and amend Company's business plan addressing profit, brand, clients, associates and market initiatives* Maintenance of current knowledge of federal, state and local legislation to ensure business compliance.
