Assist/Manage the Quarterly input/upload of data into XOL Access database application. Ā * a Support regulatory (statutory), GAAP and SOX compliance requirements and audit processes. Ā * a Assist the AVP in the quarterly audit review, through the checking and recording of the claim administration units processes against its established SOX controls. Ā * a Analyze audit findings, through SUDĀ ?s (Audit Differences), SADs (Control Deficiencies) & Management Letter Comments, and develop effective responses. Ā * a Collaborate with the management team in the following areas: 1. Maintenance of production calendars 2. Development/execution of a claims administration unit staff development plan 3. Account analysis and remediation efforts Ā * a Identify/implement departmental process improvement initiativesPosition Requirements: Ā * a Bachelors degree required Ā * a Seven to ten years professional experience Ā * a Five Years Reinsurance/Claims experience, preferably dealing with Excess of Loss (XOL) Reinsurance Claim calculations. Previous experience in Reinsurance Claims collections/recoveries role a plus. Ā * a Minimum three years Supervisory experience required Ā * a SOX control experience preferred.
