Job Description:
The Business Intelligence group is looking for a strong Program Manager to join our team. This team is responsible for the ongoing development of the data warehouse and reporting solutions that are critical to our success. This individual will be responsible for working with the marketing and the business teams to understand their needs and manage the projects to implement BI solutions that best suit those needs. As an individual contributor on the BI team, the Program Manager will have hands-on experience with customer and product data in support of our music, games and video businesses. Responsibilities include:Gather requirements and write functional specifications Create and maintain project schedules and establish milestones along with development and quality assurance leads Effectively manage scope, schedule, quality, and user satisfaction Work with users to prioritize, gain consensus, and get the right people together to solve problems Write and execute SQL to support research of new data sources and existing data anomalies Manage and track the quality and status of multiple projects, coordinating work within and among departments Communicate status and facilitate problem solving, escalating issues as necessary Communicate effectively with business owners as well as developers and QA analysts Coordinate production support activities and production releases Train users on technologies and concepts.
